    Facilities

With research, mid, and full-scale fire resistance test furnaces in our fire testing facility, we can offer various types of standard and custom fire resistance tests to the building industry.

Large Horizontal Scale Fire Resistance Test Furnace

Our Full Scale Horizontal / Floor Fire Resistance Test Furnace can be used to evaluate the fire resistance of a horizontal construction assembly e.g. slabs, ceilings, beam, ventilation ducts, in a horizontal orientation.

Large Vertical Scale Fire Resistance Test Furnace

Our Full Scale Vertical / Wall Fire Resistance Test Furnace can be used to evaluate the fire resistance of building elements such as walls, doors, dampers, lift landing doors, penetration seals, etc. in a vertical orientation.

Hydraulic Tilting Fire Resistance Test Furnace

The Full Scale Hydraulic Tilting Type Fire Resistance Test Furnace is a dual purpose apparatus that can be used to conduct tests on walls, doors, dampers, joints, penetration seals, slabs, ceilings, beam, ventilation ducts, etc in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

    Indicative Furnace

The Indicative Fire Resistance Test Furnace can be used to conduct tests on a small sample of material or assembly to withstand exposure to high temperatures according to international fire test methods.

    Miniature Fire Resistance Test Furnace

This Miniature Fire Resistance Test Furnace can be used to conduct tests on a small vertical sample measuring 0.5m x 0.5m in size.

Combination Type Cube Fire Resistance Test Furnaces

In addition to standard designs, we also manufacture fire resistance test furnaces custom built to exact specifications.

Custom furnaces can be supplied with openings to conduct 3D beam column test on shear connectors and ventilation ducts. Zone control for heating the space above or beneath the ceiling can be provided.

Additional fire power can be provided to enable rapid temperature rise to meet the most stringent hydrocarbon firing curves such as the RWS, RABT-ZTV and UL 1709.

Service teams are available for on-site service work when needed. Systems are available as a turn-key package with installation and start-up by Aseanfire personnel upon request.

BS 8414 Fire Performance Testing Of External Cladding Systems

BS 8414 Part 1: Test method for non-loadbearing external cladding systems applied to the masonry face of the building,
BS 8414 Part 2: Test method for non-loadbearing external cladding systems fixed to and supported by a structural steel frame.

The External Cladding Test apparatus is used to evaluate the extent of damage or the ability of the external cladding system to resist the propagation of the fire upwards or penetration through the system.

The fire testing system simulates a fully developed fire in a room abutting to face of a building and venting through an aperture.
